Wyatt and I took the plunge into camping. We decided to really rough it and get a RV trailer. We went on a camping trip with the Hansen family. We had fun learning how to use our new travel trailer. I really enjoyed it. The three youngest girls really liked the Bonn fire, the 4-wheelers and playing with the other kids in the woods. Me, I just had to look the other way while they continued to get dirtier and dirtier. Madison had fun on the 4-wheelers. I loved the 4-wheelers too. Wyatt went on a nice ride up in the mountains and had lunch. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I didn't want it to end.

1st Family Camping Trip

We are finally buckling down and potty training Emilie. She is fighting every step of the way. I think that because she is the youngest, she is trying to cling on to the one thing that still makes her the baby in the family. Both Madison and I are tired of changing diapers. Now that I'm done with my major project at work, I am not going to relent. Game On!!!
I took Laicie in for her kindergarten check-up. She felt like such a big girl. I would look at her and she couldn't help but smile real big. It was so cute. I thought that she only needed one shot, but she had to have four. I had to hold her down while the two nurses did shots in both legs. She completely freaked out. She screamed "Mom, make them stop!" I almost started to cry myself. When she was done she looked at me and said with a whimper "Isabella said it would tickle. It didn't it HURT.". Boy, was she mad at Isabella. I couldn't help but laugh. Poor thing.

Isabella had a service project early one Saturday morning. She knocked on our door and asked if we could drive her to it because it was cold. The service project was next door. We laughed and told her to get her coat on and walk over. We laughed for a good thirty minutes with the thought of driving her next door.
Madison had her Anti-Dance Party at our house. She had all her friends over that aren't fourteen, yet. They had fun eating pizza and banana splits and playing night games. I told her that she is probably having more fun here than going to the actual dance. She really has some good fun.
Emilie is going around the house singing all the time. I think she will be our little singer. Anyway, Wyatt's mom visited one weekend. Emilie and Laicie were visiting with grandma in her bed in the morning. Emilie was singing for Grandma. Lacie says to Emilie in serious conversation "Emilie, you should be on American Idiol". Emilie response back "But Laicie, I'm not old enough".

This is the first time that I was able to get Emilie to smile for all the photo takes. She did so good that I had a hard time choosing. We also to a picture of all the cousins on my side of the family. I couldn't believe that it went so well. All ten of the cousins did so good. The guy that took the pictures has a fan for life. I hope that we can do the same for all the cousins on Wyatt's side of the family.

Music to My Ears! Madison February 28th,2009
Madison's first concert went really well. She was very nervous, but true to form she went out there with confidence and preformed wonderfully. I was so proud of her concurring her fears. It reminded me of my first band concert and the feelings that if I messed up everyone would know. It is amazing that they all just started playing instruments just six months ago. I say " Good Job!!".

Christmas 2008
My little
Sugar Plums!
Laicie wanted to make sure that she gets featured on the new family blog spot. She had a fun Christmas. She has always wanted some dinosaurs. Santa came threw with flying colors.
Emilie wanted a dollhouse. That is now all she plays with. Even Isabella likes it. Emilie and Lacie are having hours of fun with it.
